Employment, Advancement, and Retention Network (EARN)
- The EARN program aims to break all barriers to employment for jobseekers. The program is presented through a working relationship between the Southwest Corner Workforce Investment Area, County Assistance Office and Pennsylvania CareerLink.
- The EARN program includes intensive case management, education/training, work activities, job readiness, life skills and supportive services targeted to welfare clients with serious employment barriers.
- Work experience and subsidized employment are two opportunities that are part of the EARN program. These programs allow participants to receive valuable real world workplace training and valuable on-the-job experience. Case management and job development are overseen by the Local Management Committee (LMC) to ensure that the participants’ needs are being met and that barriers are being eliminated.
